These pieces are large in size, they can take hours to create one piece. Once started the piece will not stop until I reach the end of the paper, no matter how long it takes or how uncomfortable it is physically. It's a journey I am taking that just wouldn't be the same if I walked away from it on return I would not feel the same way I did at the start.

Breathe
Black and grey Fine liner on paper. 150 cm x 21 cm
I created Breathe by using two fine liner pens. One black one grey, I spread my arms as wide as I could at either ends again not looking at the paper. I aimed to slowly bring my arms together only when I breathe. The inhaling brought the pens up and the exhaling brought the pens down. I kept doing this until i reached the center. It was really painful to do but i did not want to stop, pain is a part of the journey. I felt like it was important to show that in this piece.
